Ok before you shoot the [unpopular] messenger, hear me out.

Working on your mindset, limiting beliefs and trauma are all things you should do, and they WILL make you a better human.

Which in turn is a better version of yourself that can show up for your business.

BUT a business problem, cannot 100% be solved with a mindset solution.

You need BOTH a good mindset and a good strategy.

For example: You're not making enough money in your business.

Yes, you need a good money mindset and positive money behaviours.

But you also need the right skills to determine where the leak is occurring.

❓ Is it a lack of leads? Then you need to look at your acquisition funnel to acquire new leads.

❓ Is it low conversion rates? Then you need to look at your conversion process and find the gap there.

❓ Is it an expenditure problem? Perhaps you didn't need to join those 5 masterminds at 5k a pop.

Or maybe it's something else entirely, your offer, you pricing or your messaging to name a few.

These issues cannot be solved by saying MORE affirmations and listening to MORE podcasts, they require analysis and strategy.

This is [obviously] a very nuanced topic, one I can't delve into in ONE post, so I am going to go deeper on this in next weeks pod.

So you can have your cake 🎂 and eat it too. 😋

[And by cake I mean a thriving business with a killer strategy while still working on your personal growth too]

You don't need to be postin on socials every day like it's 2018 anymore. 🙅🏼‍♀️

And thank gawd for that 🙏🏻 because it was EXHAUSTING a girl back then 😰

These days all my clients are on a 3 or 5 post a week schedule and we patch up the broken days on the feed with a good stories strategy, which works a treat. 🙌

Instead of volume, we focus on QUALITY content and a killer strategy to drive the actions they need in their business.

And in case you were STILL wondering 🤔 why I recommend quality here are some good reasons on this graphic.

Mostly the BIG ones are:

Inactive followers - the more you post, unless your strategy is one in a million it just becomes white noise, you exhaust your audience and they are then less likely to take action on your CTA's

Diluted analytics - when the above happens, or worse you have no strategy so your audience doesn't know WHAT to do with you, your analytics get so diluted which makes it harder to see trends, whether that be ⬆️ or ⬇️

You can't just TELL people that you can help them

You can't just TELL people that you can help them you need to SHOW them, and that's where social proof comes in. 🌟

Social proof is content that shows evidence that your product or service is a viable solution for your ideal clients' needs.

It's one of the CORE content pillars I include in a client's plan when mapping out their content strategy.

BUT what most people do for this is the same old testimonial graphic, which IS great but it's not enough nuance to really get traction.

On this graphic are 3 ways that you can create social proof, let's have a lil deeper dive here:

🤳🏻 Testimonials - yes share testimonials in a graphic but also add video testimonials in too for clients who are happy to submit them.

✍️ Client stories - this can be a case study done in a carousel, a client LIVE stream interview or some stories talking through a client example in real time.

👩🏼‍💻 Your method - share here HOW you get your clients results, for eg: got an 4 step process to create a social media strategy? SHARE THAT. Carousels are a great visual medium for this or a BTS video of you DOING your thing.

Let's move away from the same old [yawn 🥱] testimonial graphic and get creative, the more depth you can add to how you get results the easier it will be for your audience to see how you can help them.

Which will translate into more leads, and more clients.

Recently [well Feb but it feels like yesterday ok

Recently [well Feb but it feels like yesterday ok 🤣] I FINALLY met IRL Brianna from @theambitiousdietitian

Despite having lived only an hour up the road from me, we’d never met. Covid and closed borders for 2 of the almost 3 years we’ve worked together didn’t help.

I’ve been the Social Media Educator for The Ambitious Dietitian in that time supporting Brianna’s clients in learning the ropes of social media.

🎙️ IT’S BAAACK 🎙️

Wowsers it’s been a red hot minute since I did a podcast ep, almost 12 months to be exact 😳

And so much has changed around here so I wanted to fill you in on the the identity crisis in my business that was 2022.

It’s a courageous tale of one 40 something woman who, in the midst of a new and challenging market, completely changed her business model.

And is still here to tell the tale, and actually is busier than she’s ever been.

To everyone who kept asking [and asking] where the podcast was, THANK YOU 🙏 for reminding me that people do want to hear from lil old me.

Even after a 12 month hiatus. 🤣
